Plint Subtitler: spell check

To check the spelling, clickselect "Review / Spell Check" in the "Review" sectionCheck in the top menu bar.

A new menu opens up with a drop down to select the language. Select the correct language and click "Check". This process might take a while depending on the number of subssubtitles in athe project.

Once the check is completed it will show a list of all the possibly faulty translations. You can either choose to "Ignore once" to skip one specific occurrence or "Ignore all" to skip all occurencies of a specific word. The feature "Add to dictionary" is not live yet and is greyed out for the moment.

 

Use the arrow buttons next to the selected language to move forward or backward through the list of errors. To edit a word click on the subsubtitle (the cursor moves to the highlighted sub in the bottom timeline as well) and either choose one of the suggested terms, or edit the sub in the target box at the bottom.

Once you are finished simply close the Spell Check window. The changes will be saved once you Change Status, edit/switch between subs or exit the project.
